Higher & Further Education

Secondary to University

Prior to leading secondary Computer Science departments, Amar spent five years delivering undergraduate and masters modules across notable UK institutions, including Anglia Ruskin University, University of West London, Essex College, and Eton Thames Graduate School.

This background ensures that students aiming for top-tier university degrees encounter rigorous foundational theory, structured algorithmic logic, and formal code reviews well before entering higher education.

Secondary Practice

Mainstream Secondary School leadership and assessment

Since 2014, Amar has specialized in secondary education, serving as FULLY QUALIFIED Teacher, Head of Computer Science within mainstream schools and practice as a part of Senior Leadership Team. Holding the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL), his pedagogical approach integrates curriculum design with strict adherence to examination board mark schemes.

By combining formal engineering principles with everyday secondary mentorship, students learn to deconstruct complex programming challenges, manage NEA coursework systematically, and eliminate common examination pitfalls.
